About Robert
Robert Turner holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy from the North Coast Institute of TAFE, Kingscliff, NSW where he studied under Jeff Murray (Director of Sports Massage for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games).
Specialising in Sports and Remedial Therapy, Robert works with a wide range of athletes and sporting teams on the Gold Coast and Brisbane, Qld. He is a former member of the Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre Sports Medicine team and was also a member of the Brisbane Lions Massage team for two seasons (2007/2008). Robert is currently a relief therapist with the Gold Coast United Soccer team.
Robert founded the Active Body Therapies Sports & Remedial Massage clinic in Miami, Gold Coast in 2007. His clients range from: amateur, professional and elite athletes in a variety of sports such as: football, golf, athletics, swimming, cycling, running, surf life saving, basketball, triathlon, rowing, dancing and martial arts. Robert also treats clients from a non-sporting background including tradespeople, office professionals, retirees and anyone seeking relief from stress-related muscle soreness and body aches, as well as injuries and ailments such as lower back pain, shoulder and neck pain, frozen shoulder, headaches and sciatica.
